NEW

: Mist King "Standard" Starter Kit. This is our new and improved low output misting system. Based on an 0.5GPH 24V diaphragm pump. This misting system is virtually silent. Pump is very robust and can run for extended periods of time - EVEN DRY!!! This pump has been custom manufactured for MistKing.com and is unique to us. Don't be fooled by others telling you that they sell the same pump that they do! We have tested a lot of sample pumps and we spent a lot of time consulting with engineers to maximize and optimize the flow of this super quiet pump. We did not go with the standard RO pump that others have gone with. We've optimized our pump top to bottom, we have a special diaphragm, custom motor and a higher bypass setting. Though this is our main misting system, there really is nothing standard about it. Even with all the modifications, we're still selling it for less then the others.
Pump is adapted for 1/4" push in fittings, UL certified and carries 2 year warranty. Supporting up to a maximum of around 1-20 misting nozzles. This kit is ideal for misting terrarium/vivarium enclosures or growing shelves or even a hobby greenhouse. We do not ship reservoir buckets with our kits. Our misting systems come with instructions and push in bulkhead fitting to convert any bucket or container into a reservoir. Plastic pails cost from $3-$8 retail depending on size. To see the difference between the nozzles see the demo section. Maximum flow rate of 0.5 GPM.

Thermally protected 0.5GPH, diaphragm pump
Vibration dampening bracket on the pump (see link)
1/4" connectors on the pump (see link)
2 regular misting nozzles (1L and 1T)
Reservoir bulkhead
15 feet of 1/4" black opaque tubing
Installation instructions
10 tubing clips

Personalization Options (select from drop down menus below):

Select the desired number of misting assemblies. Your selection will include 1 "L" assembly for the end of the line. Remainder will comprise of "T" assemblies.
Select Our New Seconds Timer. Read very important info on timers in the FAQ. Avoid surprises, get the proper timer and protect your investment!
Should You upgrade to the advanced pump?. Simply put, if you'll go over 20 nozzles then yes, if you'll never go over 20 nozzles then don't upgrade. This pump is very quiet, advanced pump has much more flow and a much more powerful motor which will be louder then this super quiet pump.

You may select additional nozzles for this kit from the nozzles section. Don't forget extra tubing! Running of the tubing around sharp 90 degree corners is a snap with the "L" connectors
