Both nozzles produce super fine mist. The nozzle on the right however, will keep dripping until all the pressure in the lines is released. The amount of water from the dripping and sputtering actually exceeds the amount of water from misting. Nozzle on the left is equipped with a pressure valve and even though there still is pressure in the lines it does not drip excessively, making it much more useful in the hobby.

There is not one bad thing iI can say about this product. I could go on forever about how great it is is and how much I am pleased with it. Quiet, easy install, powerful, it has an actual mist(not water droplets) Marty tops it off with the support and quick response.
